A female rapper you need to know!

Known by her artist name 414JungleBaby, this rapper emerging from the city of Milwaukee is giving exactly what the rap industry needs: impressive flow and consistent talent.

We had the absolute pleasure of speaking with 414JungleBaby about being taken seriously, the rap scene in Milwaukee, and more!

When did you first realize that you were great at rapping and wanted to start a music career?

414: “I always had a passion for music, I really would just freestyle for the fun of it but once I posted my first car freestyle and i seen how quick it went viral that’s when I knew I should take it serious.”

Congratulations on your newest track ‘BANG’. What was your creative process to bring this hit to life?

414: “Usually when I hear a beat I can already image the lyrics on the beat in my head I just kept hearing that catchy melody, BANG BANG BANG i also was dealing with weird energy in past friendships or people I thought I was cool with at that time and it made me think ‘I’m in the room they so offended they want smoke then tell em send it’ it was really a message for whoever the shoe fit.”

How would you personally describe the music/rap scene in Milwaukee?

414: “Milwaukee’s rap scene is raw, hungry, and full of talent. It’s a city where artists really come from something, so the music carries real stories and emotion. I feel like the world is just starting to see what the 414 has to offer, and a lot of us are working to put Milwaukee on the map in a bigger way.”

You make rapping seem so effortless! What is your best piece of advice to aspiring rappers who want to improve on their flow?

414: “The biggest thing is practice and consistency. Try Rapping over different types of beats and challenge yourself get out of your comfort zone it will build you as an artist. Flow really comes from feeling the rhythm and being confident in what you’re saying.”

Artists like Ricch Millie and SME Taxfree have hopped on your tracks. Who would you like to collab with next?

414: “I wanna collab with whoever wanna collab with me i don’t think i have a dream collab I’m just happy to make music with talented people.”

In your experience, what is the biggest stereotype that affects female rappers in the game?

414: “One stereotype is that female rappers aren’t taken as seriously as male rappers. In reality, many of them are incredibly talented and work just as hard to perfect their craft. They deserve the same respect and recognition in the industry.”

With over 5 Million streams and a fanbase growing every day, what are you looking forward to next in your career?

414: “I’m looking forward to continuing to grow as an artist and taking my music to bigger stages. I want to keep building my fanbase, dropping more impactful music, and representing Milwaukee on a larger level.”

We hear that your debut EP is coming out this year! Can you tease what your fans can expect from it?

414: “My EP Jungle This Jungle That is real life. People always got opinions about me and my story, but this project lets me speak for myself and tell who JungleBaby is, it explains dealing with fake peers and dealing with unexpected change. It’s raw, honest music straight from Jungle, and I’ve got some hard features on there too, like Montana 700 and Fox BD… and maybe a few more surprises, stay tuned!”
