Artist Dru Flecha Talks About Dream PinkPantheress Her Collab And Her Debut EP ‘Linda’

With nearly 500K+ streams on just Spotify alone, music artist Dru Flecha’s career is being taken to new heights! She recently released her debut EP ‘Linda’.

We had the amazing honor of talking with Dru about her favorite song off of her new EP, working on a recent star-studded music video, and more!

When did you first realize that you wanted to pursue a career in music?

D: “I always knew I wanted to be a singer growing up and seeing my dad going on tour and taking me to his studio sessions, really inspired me since I can even remember.”

Tell us more about your amazing debut EP ‘Linda’.

D: “Linda is an album about heartbreak and love in the process of falling in love and out of love. The reason it’s called Linda is because that’s one of my romantic  alter egos. This past year there has been a lot of ups and downs in my love life so instead of moping around, I decided to make it into art.”

If you had to choose, what is your favorite song off of the EP and why?

D: “My favorite song off the EP is in sueño because the process of making it was one of my favorites. It was just me and my producer Jorge I had brought in the hook. I came up on on my own, and then we both started writing the verses, and he started off the beat from scratch.”

You starred in Becky G’s and Karol G’s ‘MAMIII’. What was your experience doing the music video?

D: “I have never had so much fun on a job and I met all these amazing people. The crew was so professional, and I can say I’m still friends with everyone I meant onset.”

If you could collab with any music artist on a song, who would it be and why?

D: “I would love to collaborate with a pink pantheress. I love her style in her music. I’m literally obsessed with her right now.”

What has been your reaction to having over 300K+ streams on your music, on just Spotify alone?

D: “I am shocked I feel so proud of me and my team I am excited for more.”

What are your biggest goals for your music career?

D: My biggest goal is to reach the American audience and put Venezuela on the map.”
