This young influencer is such a powerhouse!

Known as an incredible and impressive cheerleader, Hawaii is now known for her amazing modeling career.

We had the amazing honor of talking with Hawaii about her Asian representation goals, favorite actresses, and more!

You studies martial arts under mentor and legend Lewis Tan of the #1 Trending Netflix Movie Fistful of Vengeance, Deadpool, Mortal Kombat, and Wu Assassins what is it like to get to learn from him since he is one of the best?

H:Well since we are like family obviously I am going to be more comfortable learning from him. But when it comes to training we all know that it is a very serious space because when your training with weapons or just fighting accidents can be very dangerous. It is important to always take training seriously. “

What made you want to study Martial arts?

H: “I am half Asian but growing up in America I feel a bit detached from my Asian heritage. But martial arts is a great way to feel more connected to part of my heritage and learn more about Asian history.”

You are also an Actress what made you want to start that and be part of the Entertainment industry?

H:Ever since I was little I have wanted to be an actress but that wasn’t an option with my competitive cheerleading. But now that I’m in LA and perusing the entertainment industry it’s a whole new world. I am really thankful to Joanne Tan who has shown me so much kindness and really have been guiding me through this entire process of becoming an actress and perusing the entertainment industry.”

You are getting ready to move to LA to officially pursue your career as a Hollywood actress. What do you hope to achieve as an actress in Los Angeles?

H: “As an actress in Los Angeles I hope to star in my own action movie fighting bad guys and saving the day like Scarlett Johansson. I’ve always looked to her as a role model I would love to have a movie with a character like black widow.”

You were previously a guest on On air with Kash. What was that experience like being on the show?

H:It was fun doing a live interview and he is a really nice guy. It was a really nice experience for one of my first interviews.”

Do you have any specific roles you like to play?

H:Yes, as I mentioned before I love Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow but I also love Zendaya. Growing up I watched KC undercover where she played KC who was a spy and she was my first influence in wanting to be a kick-butt actress.”

Do you have anyone that you look up to as an Actress?

H:Yes, I absolutely love Millie Bobby Brown. I love her in Stranger Things as Eleven and I think her range in acting is absolutely amazing. She is such an inspiration to me with her lovely personality and style. I would love to be able to meet her one day.”

Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years as an Actress?

H: “5 years from now I see myself with my own action movie being a kick-butt actress. But I want to represent Asian kids or mixed Asian kids like myself and give them the hero that I didn’t have growing up.”
