The video takes the film approach in its design, storytelling an empowering message (which is based on a true story) of staying true to yourself, and most importantly, choosing yourself. And it’s only fitting that it features Barbara driving around with the top down because that’s exactly how we feel when we scream the words to this song in our car: Confident, independent, and free.
