On June 10th, You came out with a single called “Kiss N Tell” what was your inspiration for writing Kiss N tell?
S: “At the time I wrote it, I was thinking about a song concept and a conversation came up between Autumn and I. I was talking to her about all the guys I was crushing on and how I don’t want or have time right now for anything serious but I want to be young and have fun – that’s the whole idea behind it.”
2022 Grammy-Award Winner Autumn Rowe produced your newest song “Kiss N Tell” what was it like to get to work with her?
S: “I love working with Autumn, she is truly the best there is and has taught me all I know about song writing and has helped develop me for the past 5 years.”
You gained well deserved attention on your latest single, Close to Me. Did you ever expect this song or any songs that you released to get a lot of attention?
S: “I never expected this, I was always hoping for it to be heard and get lots of streams and listens, but I get excited every time. It feels unreal.”
You are determined to use your voice and influence to leave a positive impact on others. Why do you think it is important to show that in today’s society?
S: “I feel like now more than ever we need to all be united and positive and spread the love and kind words. I am very determined and will continue to spread positivity with my voice and music.”
You are an avid supporter of the Thirst For Life project – an organization that builds wells in Africa for people who do not have access to clean water and are forced to walk hours to find a clean water supply. What was something about the Thirst For Life project that made you want to support it?
S: “I am very passionate about giving back, it’s something that brings me happiness and joy to do. I wanted to support this as having water is a necessity to live. I can’t imagine that some people don’t have access to clean water. The thirst for life project is a way to help change that one step at a time.”
You have got to sing the national anthem for the Memphis Grizzlies and the Memphis Redbirds. How were you feeling about performing for two sports teams?
S: “I was extremely excited; it still feels unreal that I got to do that and all the positive feedback I got after. Feeling that crowd and singing for that big of a crowd was incredible.”
What kind of inspires you to write your music like personal experiences or etc.?
S: “My personal experience is what I take the most inspiration from, especially my love life. I love writing about relationships while I’m in them and even the breakup process.”
Do you have anyone that you look up to as a Singer/Songwriter?
S: “I look up to many artists including, Justin Bieber, Dua lipa, Jlo, Khalid, Elton John, Drake and Camilla Cabello.”
