An award-winning actress!
Avaryana Rose is definitely a star in the making. She recently starred in the film ‘Broken’, which had a theatrical release.
We had the amazing honor of talking with Avaryana about ‘Not for Sale’, getting into character, and more!
How did you get started in acting?
A: “I started acting because I wanted to try something new! As I’m sure you can tell, I fell in love with it very quickly.”
You starred as Lexi Green in the Feature film ‘Broken’, which premiered on March 25th on Amazon Prime. What is the film about?
A: “Broken is about a teenage girl going through parental abuse. She runs away to the woods to get away, and eventually she stumbles across a kind man who helps her get back on her feet and find her faith.”
How do you get into character when acting?
A: “Most of the time I think about how the character would be feeling. How would she react to things, and what would her thought process be? Those things help me get into character on set.”
Your role in ‘Broken’ has earned you two awards for Best Actress and Best Actress Fan favorite at the Christian Film festival. How does it feel to be nominated?
A: “It feels so surreal! I can confidently say I put my own blood, sweat, and (real!) tears into ‘Broken’. I am so proud of the hard work everyone put in, and I couldn’t have done it without the amazing crew.”
You currently star in ‘Not for Sale’ which is streaming on all platforms now! What was your experience like being part of this project?
A: “My experience on set was amazing! Everyone was so kind, and I learned a lot about the dangers of human trafficking.”
Do you have a favorite project that you worked on?
A: “All of my projects have a special place in my heart! I can’t say I have a favorite.”
Your upcoming projects are ‘A Wave of Kindness’, ‘American Prom’, and ‘The Truth about Monsters’. What can you tell us about your role in these projects?
A: “My character in ‘A Wave of Kindness’ Grace, is a girl going through grief and she has many layers. In ‘American Prom’ I play Paisley, who is going through the normal dilemmas of a teenage girl, like unrequited feelings and friend problems. In ‘The Truth About Monsters’ my character deals with the extreme struggles and trauma of being involved in human trafficking.”
Where can we follow your amazing journey?
A: “All of my socials are @avaryana, @avaryanarose, and @avaryanarosetv.”
