This young actress is amazing!

We had the amazing honor of talking with Gianna on becoming an award-nominated actress, preparing for an audition, and more!

You played Kylie on Disney Channel’s “The Villains of Valley View”. What is it like playing Kylie on The Villians of Valley View?

G:Working on Disney was so much fun.  Everyone was super nice and I loved being a part of it.  The set was very upbeat.  They played music between each scene and we danced.  I learned about animatronics.  Izzy, who plays Havoc, even got me a Valentines gift – it was the best surprise!”

Currently, you play Sophie in “The Donor Party” which is in post-production! What can you tell
us about your role & the film?

G: “I play Rob Corddry and Erinn Hayes’s daughter, Sophie.  The cast and film is so funny.  They made me laugh non-stop.  It was my first night shoot so I got to stay up late which was cool.  Thom Harp gave me a huge stuffed Unicorn that was taller than me!”

You played young Demi Lovato in her music video! Did you get to meet Demi Lovato?

G: “It was a dream.  This was my second music video with Demi Levato.  I was in the “I Love Me” Video and the “Melon Cake” video as the younger version of Demi in both.  A few days after “Melon Cake” my doorbell rang and Demi sent me a personalized cake from Susi Cakes!  Demi was so kind to me.”

You were nominated for San Diego Film Awards for Best Emerging Actor in “Twenty-Two.” How did you feel about getting nominated for the role?

G: “I was so proud to get the award especially with a Film that has such an important story to share about Veteran mental health.”

You have got to play Ashley on “The Goldbergs”. What was your favorite moment during filming?

G: “There were so many great moments, but my favorite part was celebrating my pretend birthday and seeing the character’s dressed up in their funny costumes.”

How do you prepare for an audition?

G: “Each audition is different.  I think about how I would feel in each of the stories being told.  I like to bring a part of myself to each character and think about how I would feel in their situation.  I learn lines with my mom, but mostly I like the chance to be creative.”

Do you have any upcoming projects?

G: “I have two feature films being released this year.  More to come…….”
