Sonia Sharma Shares Her Experience On ‘Bachelor’ And Reveals If She Would Do It Again

This season is already incredible!

Meet the fashion ambassador behind the reason everyone on Twitter says ‘Go Back To ESPN’. Sonia recently made headlines from her appearance on Season 27 of ‘The Bachelor’.

We had the amazing honor of talking with Sonai about her podcast idea, Revolve, and more!

Tell us about Sonia Sharma. Name three things that describe who you are.

S: “Charismatic, adventurous, caring.”

We saw you on season 27 of “ The Bachelor”. Explain to us the process of being selected as one of the women.

S: “The process was extensive but was fun. I got to come out of my shell in interviews and was happy to be chosen. I was surprised honestly but it came at a good time in my life. I’m honored to be amongst one of the women chosen because they’re all stunning, smart and have interesting stories. I was glad to be able to share my upbringing and my unique experience with the producers.”

How was your first night at the bachelor mansion? What are some things that viewers don’t see?

S: “The first night was tough but fun. It was actually my 29th birthday that night so we all celebrated! My comment telling Jesse Palmer “to go back to ESPN” during the first impression rose got recognition and I was glad my sense of humor was showcased. I met great friends and Zach was a great guy, there was just no connection and that’s ok!”

Even though your time on The Bachelor was short, would you do it again?

S: “I would love to do it again. I know there’s always chances in the future to be a part of the franchise again. My commentary and one liners seemed to be favorited amongst the crowd online which was unexpected, but very flattering. Who doesn’t love being called funny?  I love the support!!”

How was your experience overall and are you still friends with some of the women on the show?

S: “I believe I’ve become lifelong friends with some of the girls on the show. We all shared the same experience and could relate to each other. We didn’t find love on the show but we did all find each other!”

Would you ever go on “Bachelor In Paradise” if asked? If so, who would you want to meet at the beach?

S: “Yes I would go! Hmmm I’m not sure I have a specific guy in mind but one or two caught my eye in the last seasons. I love a down to earth man who loves animals and the outdoors soooo we’ll see ;)! Also who doesn’t love to party on a beach in a bikini while sharing our trauma with Wells over a Pina Colada?”

Anything you can tell us about this season that may leave viewers wanting to watch?

S: “I know Zach is looking for genuine love. He took this process seriously and I noticed that. I think the places the cast got to travel to and the *drama* that happens is actually very exciting.”

As we know, you are a revolve ambassador. Tell us more about it and how you became an ambassador for revolve.

S: “My family takes my education pretty seriously. So while pursuing my masters and law degree (still finishing my last year) I wanted to have a creative outlet. I decided to pursue of fashion and applied to be an ambassador since I’m a huge fan of their clothes. All my friends and I love ordering from there so I was pretty excited to become an ambassador! “

What are your goals for the next five years?

S: “My goal for the next five years is probably going to be a boring answer. I’ve been lucky enough to travel, experience love and have a caring and supportive group of family and friends. I love adventure and would like to keep traveling but eventually would love to settle down, have a career in the medical field and live on a ranch with horses and some puppies. Although my bio says I dream of Arizona, I do have bigger aspirations…LOL. Bali sounds nice haha?”

Is anything new and exciting coming for you?

S: “I have some exciting stuff coming up!! I’ve been lucky enough to connect with people in the industry and have some places I’m going to visit and events I’m going to attend! I do eventually want to work on some kind of podcast with my friends because well…we’re funny AND I want to be able to give people advice that I wish I had known earlier. Life can be crazy, but we’ve all had similar experiences and can be there to help each other get through it :)”

Make sure you tune in to this season of ‘The Bachelor’, every Monday on ABC.
