Wins And Losses Podcast On Hitting 1 Million Likes, Dream Guest, And Upcoming Project

This dynamic duo is taking the podcast industry by storm!

With over 1 Million likes on social media, Influencers Morningstar Takapu and Adam Perez have joined forces to create our favorite new podcast: ‘Wins and Losses”.

We had the amazing honor of talking to the guys on Patreon benefits, biggest goal, and more!

When did you guys first meet each other?

A: “Man, it goes way back when Star and I first met each other. We used to live down the block from one another, but we really began to build our friendship in middle school. We played for our school basketball team and from then on we went to high school together where we really started to hang out and chill outside of school. So we were always around each other from childhood but we really didn’t become close friends until freshman year of highschool I would say. That’s when we really started to share the perspective of an entrepreneur.”

What inspired you guys to create this amazing podcast?

A: “It’s funny because this is a story that we both will never forget because of how many times we have talked about it with each other. To take it way back and give some perspective it all began when Star left to college in Hawaii to play basketball and I stayed in Arizona to run track in college. During our freshman year in college we would stay connected but it was usually over facetime calls. The times he would come to visit was during winter break and that’s when we would link up late at night and catch up on each other’s lives. We would have deep conversations about life for hours just chilling in the car talking and talking. We would talk about starting our own separate businesses which eventually happened and both failed. Fast forward a few years later when covid hit, Star and I decided to take a roadtrip to California to network with some friends. However, it wasn’t until our ride back home when Star and I had no music playing in the car and I began to share with him how I wanted to start a podcast where I bring significant entrepreneurs on to share their “Wins” and “Losses” in life. I always felt like the losses in your life can teach you more than your wins can teach you, so it’s important to not always focus on only the positive in your life but to recognize and acknowledge the negative in your life to keep a healthy balance. So in August of 2021 we got back to Arizona and began to paint our studio. Come October we were shooting with our first guest and ever since then we knew that consistency was the name of the game. “

What has been your reaction to receiving over 1 Million likes on Social Media?

M: “Receiving over 1 Million Likes on Social media has been very exciting for us. We have made goals for our podcast and now the brand Wins & Losses that we continue to reach. Social media is a crazy world and the views and likes definitely serve as some sort of reward or recognition for us.”

What has been your favorite episode so far?

M: “My favorite episode so far has to be the one with Steven Shapiro. He gave a lot of inspiration and insight on how to become a successful content creator and business owner. Definitely one of my favorite episodes for sure.”

Who would be your dream guest for the podcast?

A: “Star put me on to the NELK boys a couple years ago and ever since I watched them they look like a fun group who would fit perfectly on our podcast. I know they have plenty of entertaining and motivational stories they can share. So I would definitely say them because they are a solid team that Star and I both look up to.”

Can we expect more amazing content from you guys this year?

A: “Oh for sure! Recently, we decided to start another channel called “Wins & Losses TV”. We created our Youtube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook page for it, so feel free to check it out and stay connected with us through there. It’s going to be super fun because we’re going to be bringing the mics outdoors and doing public interviews and pranks as a team. We’re looking forward to it and we believe it’s going to be one of those channels that every individual can enjoy!”

What are some of your guy’s biggest goals for your career?

M: “Our biggest goals are for all of us to be able to do social media and content full time and quit our 9 to 5’s. We know that if we stay consistent and continue to evolve our content that we can succeed and become successful.”
