“Mysterious Benedict Society”s Mystic Inscho Talks Role, Favorite Hobbies, And Co-Stars

This breakout star is doing amazing things on the small screen!

Actor Mystic Inscho is becoming a popular child star after currently starring as “Reynie Muldoon” on Disney Plus’s new show” The Mysterious Benedict Society”.

We had the absolute honor of talking with Mystic on his Disney role, his favorite thing to do off set, and the actor he’d love to work with.

Q: When did you realize you wanted to pursue a career in acting?

M: “I started my career with theater at a young age and went off of that. At first, acting was just something to do in my spare time, but as I got more experience playing different characters I realized acting was something I wanted to pursue seriously.  I moved to LA, and a year later I got the role of Reynie in The Mysterious Benedict Society.”

Q: What was your reaction to getting a lead role in The Mysterious Benedict Society?

M: “I was thrilled when I heard I was cast as Reynie in The Mysterious Benedict Society! The excitement I felt when I heard I got the role made all of the hard work and efforts I put in worth it.”

Q: Are you friends with your on-screen friend in real life?

M: “Yes, I am friends with all of the kids in real life. We did school together on set and had a lot of time to talk and bond.”

Q: Do you think you are similar to Reynie in a way?

M: “I think that I am similar to Reynie in a lot of ways. We both love to read and solve puzzles as well as learn languages. Reynie sometimes doubts himself and his decisions, and I can relate to that.”

Q: When not on set, what is your favorite thing to do?

M: “When I was not filming, one thing I really liked to do was to take walks in the rain. I live in LA and it doesn’t rain a lot here, so I liked to enjoy the weather in Vancouver while I could.”

Q: What advice would you give to young actors who want to work in the industry?

M: “Being able to take directions and alter your performance based on what other people want are very good skills to have. Another thing that helps is finding similarities between yourself and the character you’re playing.”

Q: If you could work with any actor, who would it be and why?

M: “I would want to work with Tom Holland. I think that he is a great actor and I admire the way he does his own stunts.  I would like to play similar roles and do my own stunts someday.”
