Laura Bryna On Performing At The 2025 CMA Fest And Newest Single “Blue Jean Crazy”

A country artist you need to know!

If you have been getting into your country music era, then we highly suggest Laura Bryna. A dynamite singer based in Nashville, her music is top-notch, including her newest single “Blue Jean Crazy”.

We had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Laura about the song that represents her the most, her adoring Bryniacs, and more!

Congratulations on your new single “Blue Jean Crazy”! Can you tell us how it came to be?”

L: “Thank you! ‘Blue Jean Crazy’ came to life on the very last day of Aaron “Chief” Lamb’s songwriting camp. We were all a little tired, but in the best way—laughing, messing around, and just wanting to end the week on a high note. We said, “Let’s write something fun, something you can roll the windows down to and sing at the top of your lungs with your friends.” So we leaned into that idea—gang vocals, good vibes, and all the energy of a summer anthem. At its heart, though, it’s a tribute to small-town America. The kind of place where you know everybody by name—the Charlies at the liquor store, the Geralds who run the Texaco. Those everyday characters that make main street feel like home. It’s about celebrating who you are and where you come from, no matter how big or small the town.”

You performed this new hit at the 2025 CMA Fest! What was that experience like?

L: “It was such a blast! CMA Fest always feels like one big family reunion, and getting to perform “Blue Jean Crazy” in the middle of all that excitement was unforgettable. Nashville has truly become my second home, so stepping on stage and sharing a brand-new song there just felt right. You could feel the love in the air. And let me tell you—hearing the crowd clap along and shout that chorus back at me? I was like, “Okay, y’all get this!” It’s a fun, small-town anthem, and performing it live made it feel even more alive. The energy, the smiles, the boots stompin’—that’s the kind of moment that reminds me exactly why I do what I do.”

What released song of yours would you say represents you the most as an artist, the single that tells a new fan exactly who Laura Bryna is?

L: “That’s an easy one—“Certified” all the way! That song is a whole mood and it captures the quirky, fearless, full-throttle version of me that fans see on and off stage. It’s fun, it’s bold, and just a little bit unhinged in the best way.* The lyrics are sassy and unexpected, and that’s exactly how I like to live my life—coloring outside the lines and not taking myself too seriously. “Certified” lets people know right away: this girl’s not afraid to be a little wild and own every part of who she is. It’s loud, proud, and unapologetically Laura Bryna.”

This is your third single of the year, and 2025 is only halfway done! Can you tease what fans can expect coming down the pipeline next?

L: “Oh, buckle up y’all—we are only halfway through and I’m just getting warmed up! Next up is my collab with Common Tribe called “Rise,” dropping the last week of July. It’s got this soulful, uplifting energy that I think people really need right now. It’s all about pushing through the hard stuff and lifting each other up—and honestly, it gives me chills every time I hear or sing it. Then in early August, something huge is happening. Sam Feldt—yes, the international DJ and producer who’s racked up billions of streams and played stages all over the world—has remixed “Painkiller.” Y’all, I never imagined this little song would take on a second life like this! He gave it this dreamy, cinematic, dance-pop feel while keeping all the emotion intact. It’s different, it’s big, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it. Let’s just say 2025 is the year of keeping you on your toes—genre lines? What lines?”

Over the past few years, the number of country music fans has seen a huge rise. As a country-rock artist, what has been your personal reaction to the new surge in country music love and appreciation?

L: “It’s been amazing to witness! Country music has always been about storytelling, and right now people are really craving something real—songs with heart, grit, humor, and soul. As a country-rock artist, I’ve always lived on that edge where traditional meets rebellious, and it’s exciting to see the genre open its arms to so many different sounds and voices. The coolest part? Fans are showing up in a big way—not just for the classics, but for artists like me who are mixing it up and bringing something new to the table. It feels like country is having a moment… but also a movement. And I’m proud to be riding that wave while staying true to who I am.”

Is there anything you’d like to say to your adoring fans, The Bryniacs, who have been following you alongside your successful journey?

L: “Oh my Bryniacs… y’all have my heart. Truly. You’ve been with me through every twist and turn, every new sound and chapter—and I wouldn’t be where I am without your love, loyalty, and constant support. You’re the reason I keep pushing, dreaming, and creating. From the very first song to this latest release, you’ve been right there—streaming, sharing, showing up, and singing along like family. That means more to me than I can ever fully put into words. Just know this: we’re in it for the long haul, and the best is still ahead. Let’s keep rising together.”
