Influencer Avery Cyrus On Being Optimism, LGBTQ+ Representation, And Space Hero

This influencer is truly taking her stardom to new heights!

With over 7 Million followers in just 2 years on being on social media, Avery Cyrus is quickly becoming one of our favorite influencers! She recently announced that she will begin a partnership with ‘Space Hero’, with the hopes of showing her supporters that outer space is accessible for everyone.

We had the amazing honor of talking with Avery on hometown, traveling favorites, and more!

How would you describe yourself in one word?

A: “Hmm probably optimistic!“

Where are you from?

A: “Colleyville, Texas.”

Why is it so important for you to live in your truth and follow your purpose?

A: “You just have one life and I don’t want be on my death bed one day and be like “dang, I should have done that.”

What gives you the confidence to share your life on social media especially as someone a part of the LGBTQ community?

A: “I just want to help people feel comfortable in their own skin. I’m not very confident and I definitely wasn’t when I started TikTok, but knowing that it might help somebody else feel confident made it easier!” 

We see on your socials that you love to travel. Where has been your favorite place you traveled to?

A: “Ohhhh, that’s tough, I really love Japan, Bali, Thailand and India. Basically all of Asia is amazing.”

You have worked with some of the most successful brands and networks. How has it been working with big companies and brands like Freeform, HBO Max, Under Armor and so much more?

A: “It’s really daunting honestly to work with such well-known companies, but they have all been super nice and easy to work with!”

Growing up what was your dream career? Did you always want to be on social media?

A: “Growing up I always said I wanted to be a travel vlogger and I would still love to. I really want to travel to as many places as possible. Except, I would put it all in TikTok rather than YouTube.”

What are some goals you want to achieve in the next 10 years?

A: “I want to have a bunch of real estate on Airbnb making me passive income, so I can travel the world!” 

What is your favorite trend on TikTok right now?

A: “The cooking trends will always be my favorite.”

What is your biggest motivation to keep going and pushing forward?

A: “Making sure that I can always provide for my family is one of my biggest motivations.”

What projects do you have coming up next?  

A: “I have this really cool project with this company called Space Hero. They are sending me and a couple other Influencers to a space training program where we get to document and experience doing things like g zero gravity flight and a space centrifuge.”
