With over 1 Million streams of her music under her belt, Christina Taylor is a country superstar. Not only has she opened for living legends including Tim Mcgraw and Pitbull, but she takes music very seriously, and we can tell in her incredible music.

We have had the absolute honor of talking with Christina on her new single, her singing journey so far, and what’s next.

Q: When did you realize you wanted to be a full-time singer?

R: “I’ve been singing my whole life, but I realized in high school that I wanted to do music full time. Instead of going to college, I started driving back and forth to Nashville twice a month to pursue writing and performing and never looked back!”

Q: Tell us about your new single “I Got That From You.”

R: “I wrote “I Got That From You” with Lynn Hutton and Kelley Lovelace. We wrote the song about how a broken heart can really shape who you are, sometimes even more so than genetics.”

Q: What is your favorite part about performing?

C:
“My favorite part about performing is the personal connection I get to make with people when I’m on stage singing a song they relate to, and after I’m done performing when I get to meet them and hear their stories!”

Q: Out of all of your songs so far, which is your favorite and why?

C: “It changes all the time, but right now it is my most current single “I Got That From You.” I love it because it is not only fun, but it has substance and is meaningful.”

Q: If you could feature on a song with any artist, who would it be and why?

C: I would love to feature on a song with Eric Church or P!nk. They are my favorite artists of all time, and it would be an honor to be on a song with either one of them.”

Q: What message do you want to send to your fans right now?

C: “I want my fans to know that through the hard times in 2020 and what has continued into 2021, music can truly heal and get you through tough times. I hope my music can help them through whatever they’re all going through and make it a little easier to keep on.”

Q: What are your biggest music goals for your career?

C: “My biggest goal is to write music that resonates with people. I would also love to perform at the Opry one day. Those are my two biggest goals!”
