One of our favorite British boybands is here!
From the popular CBBC show “Almost Never”, The Wonderland is truly a boy band to look out for. Even off of our TV screens, you can see them on their social media giving their amazing fans covers of your favorite songs.
We had the absolute honor of talking with the boys on all things them becoming besties, their favorite covers, and more!
Q: Are you guys close friends in real life?
Nate: “Of course we are. We spend a lot of time together outside of the show, even though we weren’t friends before we were cast in Almost Never we’ve become super close because of it.”
Q: Do you guys have any behind-the-scenes stories of the “Almost Never” show?
Oakley: “We have sooooo many. We lived in the same house together for 3 months, so there was plenty. But my favourite has got to be when we start laughing, and then we just can’t stop haha.”
Q: Is the new Season 3 your favorite season of the “Almost Never” show?
Oakley: “100%, we all really loved filming this season of almost never. Especially, that we got to perform some of our own original songs in the show too.”
Q: What has been your favorite cover you guys have done?
Harry: “There’s so many I think my favourites would be ‘Good time’ ‘For life’ and ‘Sway’. And my favourite cover I think would be Dancing in the Moonlight .”
Q: If you could feature with any other artist, who would it be and why?
Oakley: “If I could feature with any artist, it would have to be Billy Idol. He’s been my favourite artist for a veryyyyy long time, and it would be great to say I’ve featured on one of his songs.”
Q: What has been your reaction to all of your success?
Nate: “I think I’m just very grateful that I’ve even been able to do music and film an incredible TV show it was never my original plan. Also to see all the fans and people that love the show is one of the best feelings and definitely one of the main reasons why I do it.”
Q: Would you guys consider going on tour to America?
Harry: “That would be amazing, we would love too! Let’s hope that happens.”
Q: Do you guys have hidden talents, your fans don’t know? What are they?
Nate: “I wouldn’t say that it’s a hidden talent but without sounding big headed I’m pretty good at anything active, I love sports and have played Tennis, Hockey and Swimming all my life and can skateboard too.”
Q: What has been your favourite moment as a band so far?
Nate: “We have loads but I’d say it’s either when we finish writing a song and we’re all really excited about it, or when we played live shows to audiences, the feeling of performing on stage is like nothing else, especially when you’re doing it with your best friends.”
Q: Where can we follow your amazing journey?
Harry: “You can watch Almost Never on CBBC and the BBC iPlayer, and to keep up to date with news follow The wonderland and Almost Never social media platforms on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.”
