Truly a double threat!
From her hilarious stand-up comedy to her amazing music, Ksenia is quickly making a name for herself in the entertainment industry. She is gearing up to release her new single ‘FAKE’, and if you’re ever gone through fake friends, you’re going to want to turn this song up.
We had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Ksenia about social media, her song that holds a special place in her heart, and more!
When did you first realize that you wanted to pursue a career in music?
K: “From a young age, growing up in Nakhodka, Russia, I was constantly singing. By the age of seven, I was organizing birthday performances for my friends, turning these events into little talent shows. As I got older, it became clear that music wasn’t just a passion—it was what I was truly meant to do.”
Tell us more about your upcoming single “FAKE” and how it came to be.
K: “FAKE” was inspired by some of the friendships I’ve experienced in Los Angeles. It can be difficult to discern who’s genuine in a city where many people seem to compete rather than uplift one another. I believe women should support each other and grow together. Music is my therapy—it helps me process my emotions. After dealing with someone being insincere, I channeled that experience into creating “FAKE.”
If you had to choose, what is your personal favorite song you’ve released so far, and why?
K: “Choosing a favorite is tough because each song feels like a part of me. However, from my earlier work, “Fire with Fire” holds a special place. It’s an emotional song about heartbreak and revenge, and even listening to it recently, I still feel that same intensity. On a lighter note, my latest comedic track, “Tiny D*ck Guy,” is a playful jab at men who mistreat women, mixing humor with a message.”
When it comes to your comedy, who would you credit as some of your biggest inspirations?
K: “Woody Allen has been a huge influence on my comedy. His ability to carve his own path, writing and producing his own material, is something I admire deeply. Like him, I aim to create and chart my own course by staying true to my creative vision.”
You’re amazing at both, but which would you say you are more passionate about: comedy or singing? Or both?
K: “Thank you so much! It’s hard to choose because I’m equally passionate about both. Luckily, I’ve found a way to blend them into a single performance, which allows me to express my personality and humor while singing. Music has always been a love of mine since childhood, and comedy comes naturally to me—so merging the two feels like the perfect fit for who I am.”
You have millions of likes on social media! What has been the biggest reaction to your success?
K: “The biggest reaction tends to come from the jokes I make about Russian stereotypes. My followers seem genuinely happy about my growth, and whether it’s through music or comedy, I’m grateful for the positive feedback I receive.”
What has been the most validating moment in your career so far?
K: “One of the most validating moments came when a young woman told me that after attending one of my shows, she couldn’t sleep until she finished her script. Knowing that I’ve inspired someone to pursue their own creative dream reaffirms my belief that I’m on the right path. My mission is to inspire others—if I can do it, so can they.”
Where can we follow your amazing journey?
