Zachery Renauldo Reacts To “Unreal” Social Media Fame After Getting 10 Million Likes on TikTok

If you are a fan of Dungeons and Dragons, then you need to start following Zachery Renauldo. We are definitely guilty of watching his DnD for hours.

We had the amazing honor of speaking with Zachery about his acting career, advice for aspiring content creators, and more!

When did you first discover your love of Dungeons and Dragons?

Z: “I stumbled into Dungeons and Dragons by chance, thanks to the “Not Another DnD Podcast.” I got so hooked, I managed to convince my meat head varsity lacrosse roommates to give it a whirl. We didn’t really know what we were doing, but man, it was a blast. That fun later led me to start making D&D videos and I’m still surprised by the overwhelming reaction.”

You have nearly 10 Million likes on TikTok! What has been your reaction to your success?

Z: “It still feels unreal. Having a Discord community and a marketplace helps make it a bit more tangible, I can actually see and talk to the people who enjoy what I do. I had someone message me on TikTok that they saw me walking into a KFC and that was pretty surreal.”

What is your best piece of advice to aspiring content creators?

Z: “Do what you love, not just what’s trending. If you’re all in on something you’re passionate about, it shows, and that’s what really draws people in. If you end up blowing up on a topic or niche that you aren’t passionate about, then you might have to start over.”

You have dabbled into the acting industry! What have those experiences been like for you?

Z: “Jumping into acting has been an absolute blast. It’s taken me all over LA, places I probably wouldn’t have seen otherwise. The talent out here is mind-blowing. Working alongside other actors and directors has been a real eye-opener—it’s proof to me that your dreams are tangible and realistic if you are passionate enough. TikTok was an unexpected detour in the world of acting for me, but it’s one I’m eternally grateful for.”

Do you plan on pursuing more acting opportunities in the future?

Z: “I’m definitely open to more acting gigs, but creating content is where my heart is right now. The tabletop RPG scene has been super welcoming, and I’m loving every minute of it. I get to wear so many hats – writer, actor, producer, editor. Down the line, I’d love to get into bigger projects, but for now, the short-form stuff is where my heart is taking me. It’s creatively satisfying in a way I hadn’t expected.”
