A star on the rise!
At just 14 years old, actress Kylee Levien has quickly proven that she is a name to know in the entertainment industry. She is set to star in the highly-anticipated upcoming film ‘Roswell Delirium’.
We had the amazing honor of talking with Kylee about The Delirious Dorks, her upcoming co-star role, and more!
When did you first realize that you wanted to pursue a career in acting?
K: “I enjoyed acting since the age of 7, but it wasn’t until about 4 years ago that I realized this is my true passion. I was 10 years old and driving to LA several times a week for auditions and work but when Covid hit, I really missed it and knew I couldn’t live without it. So I told myself to never let go of a good thing and as long as my career is good to me…I’m all IN!”
Tell us more about your character in the upcoming star-studded movie ‘Roswell Delirium’.
K: “What a dream role! I play the lead, Mayday Malone, who sees a lot of sadness thru life circumstances but I love to make contact with people on my grandpa’s old ham radios. Life takes some crazy turns when I make contact with the wrong people and we get hit with nuclear attacks! Thank goodness my best friend, Jeremiah is there to help me thru it all!”
The first look trailer for the film looks amazing! Can you tease what people can expect from
the movie?
K: “Oh it is! You can expect to see a bitter war between my parents, devastating life crisis’ and near
death experiences. You will need Kleenex!”
Can you share any funny moments from behind the scenes?
K: “OMG! So many! I surprised Reggie Vel Johnson with Twinkies as a joke from his days in Die Hard, and on Dee Wallace’s last scene, I went up to her with a creature like ET to scare her. (Thank goodness she laughed) Whenever the team of kids, who we are referred to as The Delirious Dorks, were on set together, we had an absolute blast! We made imitation videos and TikToks, laughed uncontrollably and we really did become one big family.”
You’ve met everyone from Reginald VelJohnson to Robert Downey Jr. to Austin Butler! Have you ever been starstruck before?
K: “I really don’t get “starstruck” but I do try to have a meaningful conversations with big celebrities.
It’s funny because all of them so far have been kind and really grounded. I keep in mind that it’s
an honor to meet them and study their work in person.”
Who would be your dream co-star?
K: “I have dreamed of working with Claire Holt and Phoebe Tonkin because I love their on screen
and off screen friendship. I also would love to film with horses!”
How do you balance your acting career with your school and social life?
K: “You have to be organized! Being homeschooled helps a lot because I horseback ride, am learning ASL and Ukulele and I volunteer every week along with school and scripts but I’ve learned to balance my time really well. Most of my friends are in the industry too so we get together or facetime as much as possible…you know us girls need that! LOL.”
Where can we follow your amazing journey?
K: “You can find me on IG @insidekyleesworld, Facebook (Kylee Levien) and of course, IMDb.”
Can you tease your upcoming Co-Star role?
K: “I’m super excited for this show but those darn NDA’s! All I can say is its going to be out of this
world!”
