A star in the making!
Zoe Grace Rodriguez, 16, has been acting since she was 4 years old in live community theatre productions. Since then she has went on to perform in over 30 productions. She is now joining our New Scene team in a new way! She will be sharing her syndicated ‘Dear, Karma’ in our upcoming print issues!
We had the amazing honor of talking with Zoe about Paris Fashion Week, goals for her career, and more!
We haven’t spoke to you since May of last year! How have you been?
Z: “Hello! I’ve been great. It’s been a crazy year. A lot has changed since last may! For one, I started public school which has been a challenge, and I also have been working on a couple of super cool projects, one of which being the launch of my Dear, Karma advice column.”
What do you love the most about being a teen reporter?
Z: “As a teen reporter, I love getting to meet my fellow members of young Hollywood. I am also a very inquisitive person, so asking questions is kind of a niche of mine.”
You have gone to so many events! What would you say has been your favorite event you have attended and why?
Z: “My favorite event so far would be a fashion show I attended with my close friend Dai. We were on a trip in Paris France for my sixteenth birthday, so sitting front row for a fashion show during Paris Fashion week felt like a dream come true!”
We have to talk about ‘Dear, Karma’! We are so excited to welcome your column to our magazine! What inspired you to start the column?
Z: “I’ve always had a passion to help others. So, naturally, I love giving advice. Creating an advice column Zoe-Style just made sense.”
What are some of your biggest goals for your career?
Z: “I want for people to see my work and feel seen. I want do what I love while inspiring others to pursue their dreams.”
Where can we follow your amazing journey?
Z: “You can follow me everywhere at @zoegracerodriguez :).”
