This music artist is one of a kind!
With over 15 Million views on Tik Tok, Evanthia’s fanbase is growing every day. She’s about to release her first-ever single, ‘The Deep End’, on May 25th.
We had the amazing honor of talking with Evanthia about journaling, working on her guitar skills, and more!
Where are you from?
E: “I am originally from St. Louis, MO but I now live in Nashville, TN.”
What’s your musical genre?
E: “Country :).”
How would you define your music?
E: “I hope my music is received as authentic and also as a creative storyteller. I want it to resonate with everyone in their own perception. Music is universal.”
When did you discover your talent and what pushed you to pursue a career in music?
E: “I have always loved to sing and perform. In 2018 I started really focusing on my guitar skills so that I could work towards the artist I wanted to become. For me, it was just that I have always had a passion for music and wanted to see where it could take me.”
Can you tell me about your debut single ‘The Deep End’?
E: “The Deep End is a raw love song. Oftentimes we get into a relationship and as things develop, we aren’t sure or wonder if the other person shares the same connection. It’s super vulnerable and also shows the struggles of real life relationship feelings.”
What is the meaning behind this song?
E: “For me it’s about knowing whether or not the other person is catching the same feelings. Do they love me, do they feel we are moving forward? That’s the great thing about music. It can tell a story one way to one person and another way to the next.”
This is your debut single, are you excited for the start of your career?
E: “This is such an incredible feeling! I have been planning and preparing for this moment.”
How has your personal life and experiences influenced your music and songwriting?
E: “I have always been one to journal everything, daily life things, music, friendships etc. It has helped me be more creative with my songwriting. But I also can’t give away my secrets just yet :).”
What is a message you would like to give through your music and why?
E: “Write here something you want to let people know.”
Make sure to stream ‘The Deep End’ on May 25th!
