Peyton Perrine Names His Favorite Nick Movie And Talks About Role In ‘That Girl Lay Lay’

An actor on the rise!

From Netflix’s ‘Colin in Black & White’ to NBC’s ‘Kenan’, Peyton Perrine is constantly on our tv screens! Currently, he is starring in Nickelodeon’s hit show ‘That Girl Lay Lay’.

We had the amazing honor of talking with Peyton about his dream co-stars, his favorite Nickelodeon shows, and more!

When did you first realize that you wanted to pursue a career in acting?

P: “I first realized I wanted to start acting when I saw my mom doing her auditions for commercials and TV. I wanted to start doing sitcoms when we watched the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. It sparked something in me.”

Tell us more about your character on the popular Nick series ‘That Girl Lay Lay’.

P: “My character is Marky Alexander, or as Trish, Marky’s mom calls him when he’s in trouble, “Marcus Moziah Alexander!” Marky is an entrepreneur who will do anything for his money like jump in a vat full of grease, sell his favorite stuffed animal, or make his sister Sadie pay him for keeping secrets. Marky loves his money but still is a kid who enjoys going on adventures with his family and his best friend Scoot!”

Do you think you have anything in common with your character Marky?

P: “I think Marky and I are similar cause we both like money! We both like going on adventures with our families. And we both like hanging out with friends and helping to keep secrets (for me sometimes).”

Now that you are a part of the Nickelodeon family, what are some of your personal favorite Nick
shows and movies?

P: “My favorite Nick shows are All That, Kenan and Kel, Henry Danger, Danger Force, Loud House, The
Casagrandes, and of course Spongebob! And my all time favorite Nickelodeon movie is Good Burger!

You recently attended this year’s Kids Choice Awards! What was that experience like for you?

P: “Being at the Kids Choice Awards was really cool! I got to hang out with my friends and meet some really cool people!”

You have starred alongside so many incredible actors and actresses! Who would you love to
work with next?

P: “I would love to work with Michael B. Jordan and Kel Mitchell.”

When not acting, what are some of your favorite things to do?

P: “When I’m not acting I like to hang out with my friends, practice my martial arts, work out, and play video games.”
