She is an amazing music artist!
After being a fan-favorite on Season 21 of The Voice, Kinsey Rose is back and better than ever. Today, she released a single entitled ‘Speed Of A Broken Heart’.
We had the amazing honor of talking with Kinsey about performing live, Dolly Parton, and more!
When did you first realize that you wanted to pursue a career in music?
K: “I was ten-years-old when I started writing songs. I loved creating and learning about music. When I was fifteen years-old I went to a concert and I remember how it made my heart feel, I knew that was my calling then. To perform and create!”
Tell us more about your amazing new single ‘Speed Of A Broken Heart’.
K: “Speed Of A Broken Heart” was a song I wrote with Marcus Hummon and Chris Roberts during a very emotional time in my life. A seven-year relationship of mine had come to a very sad ending. My heart was hurting so we wrote about it.”
How would you personally describe the music scene in Nashville?
K: “The Nashville music scene is always growing and changing. I’ve been in Nashville several years and have seen the change with my own eyes. I think Nashville is great for artists because they can find people to collaborate with, shows to play, and studios to record in. We are blessed here in Nashville to have access to so much talent.”
You appeared on Season 21 of The Voice! What was that experience like for you?
K: “The Voice” was an experience of a lifetime. I had never been on a TV set as big as “The Voice” before. I was challenged and learned a lot about myself and met so many great people along the way. A highlight for me was meeting Ed Sheeran. He was so kind and encouraging to me!”
What is your favorite aspect of performing live?
K: “Feeling that connection with the audience! When I’m singing a song and just “feel it” and can tell the audience is feeling it too.”
You have nearly half a Million streams on your music! What was been your reaction to your rising fame? Is there anything you want to say to your fans?
K: “Thank you for listening! I’m so happy to know people are out there listening to my music all around the world and I am so excited to have a new song out for all of my listeners.”
If you could collab on a song with any artist, who would it be and why?
K: “Do I have to only pick one? It would be amazing to sing with Dolly Parton!”
Where can we follow your amazing journey?
K: “You can follow me on my social media channels: Instagram, Facebook or TikTok. Also, you can listen to my music on iTunes and Spotify!”
