We believe in you!
A new year is here, which means: it’s time for the 2023 Spelling Bee of Canada! Registration is now open and the deadline is quickly approaching. Registration for all categories ends on January 31st. Everyone at New Scene highly encourages all Canadian citizens ages 6-14 to partake in this amazing experience.
And don’t just take it from me! Take it from our amazing Entertainment Writer Ananya Vinay, who is also a Spelling Bee Champion!
“As the 2017 Scripps National Spelling Bee Champion, I can tell you that the spelling bee changed my life. It taught me so much about public speaking, the power of language, and shaped so much of who I am today. Participate, and no matter where you place, you’ll always use the discipline, the vocabulary, the thrill of breaking down a word into pieces round by round!”– Ananya Vinay, 2017 Scripps National Spelling Bee Champion
