Plus: Our tips and tricks to do it right!
Recently, our reporters had the absolute honor of attending Universal Studios Orlando and Islands of Adventure to check out their Christmas celebrations. And let’s just say: it completely exceeded our expectations!
The Shows Were Exceptional
Universal outdid themselves when it comes to the shows here at the parks. The Macy’s Universal parade was bigger than we remember any previous parade at the park being. And the Grinchmas Who-liday show has officially set the tone of what theme parks are capable of doing.
The Food Was Absolutely Incredible
While the original food at the parks is still top-tier (We suggest grabbing a bite at the Krusty Burger), the holiday treats are a must-have.
We will be going more in-depth about all of the amazing activities and foods to try during your holiday stay, with articles every weekday this week! We will also be revealing the best festive photo-opp locations and Christmas merch finds!
Here are a few NS tips that you have to consider to get the most out of your vacation!
#1-Get the Universal app
The Universal FL app was a complete game-changer! With it, you can check ride wait times and schedules of the show, so that you can manage your time right. Plus, you can read the menus and do a mobile order before reaching your go-to dining spot. You can download it for free here.
#2-Make this a Two-park trip
In our opinion, you should definitely get a park-hopper pass for both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Having access to both areas gives you so many more options for shows, dining, and most importantly: riding the Hogwarts train!
#3-There are characters everywhere!
From a very festive Patrick Star to the Scooby Doo gang, there are characters everywhere at Universal Orlando! Think of some cute poses and take advantage of getting a perfect Christmas card photo with your friends and family.
Thank you again Universal Studios for a lovely time. You can all still get tickets to enjoy the celebrations right here!
