Get your TVs ready!
After making her mark in the recent film festival movie ‘1-800-Hot-Nite’, we are so excited to see what Orli does next. Later this month, she is making her official TV debut in the Emmy-nominated series ‘Yellowstone’.
We had the amazing honor of talking with Orli about her current favorite episode from ‘Yellowstone’, advice fro aspiring actresses, and more!
When did you first realize that you wanted to pursue a career in the entertainment industry?
O: “When we first visited California, my mom signed up both me and my sister for an intensive acting workshop. We auditioned and starred in short films. The first time I saw the finished product in a theatre with hundreds of people, I felt this thrill. I think thats when I realized I wanted to pursue.”
We are so excited to see you in the next season of ‘Yellowstone’! Are you excited to make your television debut?
O: “Absolutely, beyond excited. My whole family is counting down the days.”
Do you have a favorite character/episode from the series already?
O: “Favorite episode would be the first episode of Season 4. There was so much drama and lots of big changes happened. I was biting my nails the whole time.”
Your most recent project is the film festival hit ‘1-800-Hot-Nite’. What was that experience like for you?
O: “1-800-Hot-Nite was so different than my other experiences. I worked mainly with young actors around my age and we all closely bonded afterwards. Nick Richey, the director, gave us lots of freedom to play around and the set was always full of laughter.”
How do you balance your successful acting carer and your school life?
O: “It’s always been a struggle fitting one into the other. For a while I was homeschooled, but missed the social part of it. I’m enrolled in an arts school, but the program is pretty understanding when I need to leave for work. I just took the CHSPE and am waiting on my results. If I pass, i’d stay in school, but would have the availability to leave if i needed to.”
If you could star alongside any fellow actress in your next project, who would it be and why?
O: “I would definitely say my sister, Arielle. We started this together and have been through so many ups and downs in the industry, I think it would be amazing to do something with her.”
What advice would you give to young actresses wanting to pursue an acting career?
O: “To any young actresses, I would say that this whole experience is meant to be fun. It brutal when you’re constantly auditioning and see no feedback, but all it takes is one booking. Keep your head up.”
Where can we follow your amazing journey?
O: “You can follow my Instagram: @orligottesman.”
