This influencer is full of talents!
Known for her beauty videos, her amazing social media accounts, and her acting career, Gabby Morrison is becoming one of the most popular influencers of today. She recently announced her collaboration with the skincare company ‘Beaubble’ to release her new line ‘Lagoon’.
We had the absolute honor of talking with Gabby about her experience with social media, dream vacation, and more!
What is the passion behind your new body care line “Lagoon with Beaubble”?
G: “The passion behind my body care line comes from having sensitive skin and still wanting that hydrated glowy skin look. I soon realized that lots of skin products and tips and tricks would cause my skin irritation and it made me so nervous to try lots of new products. I want people to have hydrated skin with no worries of bad reactions!”
What Positive impact do you wish to make through your social media?
G: “I hope my socials can make a positive impact on younger people. Especially younger people of color, growing up I didn’t have lots of representation to follow and look up to. This affected me in smaller ways like always wanting to have my hair straight and thinking that was the prettiest style. Representation is so important and especially in this time where women are losing their rights, I want younger women to know that they can follow their dreams and do whatever they want to.”
When you first joined Social Media did you ever imagine yourself as successful as you are today?
G: “Absolutely not, I had no idea that making videos could become a career for me. It’s still so shocking and such a blessing that I have been able to do what I love as a career.”
As you continue to grow, What can we expect from you in the future?
G: “I am working on lots of things and working hard every day to make content and show everyone my day as well what I truly love to do like acting and dance. I am focusing a lot on acting classes while I live in Los Angeles so hopefully within a few years you can expect to see me on your TV screens!”
Outside of content creation, What are you passionate about?
G: “I am very Passionate about traveling. I have been traveling my whole life with my family and now I am exploring the world on my own more and more! I am also passionate about dance and staying active. I have been going to dance classes in Los Angeles which has always been a dream of mine. I wasn’t staying active for a couple months and I felt awful so ever since I’ve been pushing myself in the gym, Pilates and other exercise classes!”
As an avid traveler, What is your dream travel destination?
G: “My dream travel destination at the moment is Switzerland. Since I’m from Florida I have never seen snow fall from the sky before. My dad has also told me amazing stories from his travel there so I would really love to see a winter wonderland for the first time!”
How has Social Media changed the course of your life?
G: “Social Media has really changed my life so much. It has opened so many doors that I feel compliment me, but I don’t think I would have had the opportunity to pursue them without my social media. I feel so blessed to have these opportunities and get to follow my dreams. I remember my senior year when I decided not to fully pursue dance and to double major in dance at college. I was devastated that I was walking away from something I love so much.”
As a content creator, Do you wish to expand on your other talents such as acting and dancing?
G: “Yes, I always say I will never stop dancing! A dream of mine is to go on dancing with the stars or to follow my dream of being a Rockette. I would love to do a social media series where I take them along with me as I follow my dance career and so many of my supporters love when I train and dance.
I also do want to expand on my acting as well, I am really diving into the art of acting and taking classes out in Los Angeles. I have great coaches and can’t wait to take the next step in my acting career as well! Crossing my fingers for an acting role where I can also dance. “
What is your favorite memory from your childhood?
G: “As a Florida child, I think a lot of my favorite childhood memories are at Disney. I am such a Disney (especially Disney princess) adult even now. My favorite childhood memory was at this place in Disney called The Bibbity Bobbity Boutique. I’m not sure if they still do it but they would do your makeup and your hair and cover you in glitter before your day at Disney. I remember walking through the park afterwards and getting countless compliments and being called “Princess Gabby” for the whole day.”
