This young artist is back with another hit!

Florida-based artist Ike Rhein has already made a great music impression. He has already received nearly 1 Million streams on his music, on just Spotify alone! Now, he’s back with a brand new single entitled “Violin”.

We had the amazing honor of talking with Ike on his favorite songs so far, advice for young artists, and more!

Did/How did growing up in Grand Rapids shape who you are as a musician?

I: “Growing up in foster care in Grand Rapids really shaped me not only as a person, but as a singer. It’s helped me relate to people and the things that they may be going through.”

What drew you to creating music?

I: “I’ve always had the passion for music and started writing songs at a very young age. Not only just singing, but playing multiple instruments as well.”

How did you find your unique sound, and who helped/inspired you to develop it?

I: “It took me awhile to find my sound. What helped me find it was really focusing on who is Ike Rhein and what is my style – to not try to copy anyone and be myself.”

What’s your creative process like when you make a new song?

I: My team and I really like to put our feelings into words and what is relevant in this present time in the world.

Which of your songs is your favorite?

I: “I really love “Messed It Up” and “Violin,” but there are some unreleased songs that are definitely my favorite.”

If not for your music, where would you be right now?

I: “I don’t think I would be anywhere else! Music is who I am and what I’m meant to do!”

How does it feel to be this successful at such a young age?

I: “Still trying to give my all and never settle! To be thankful, but not satisfied. I’m very blessed to be doing what I love.

What would you tell young people who want to create, but are a little too worried about not being taken seriously?

I: “The right people will come into your life if you just never give up. Keep going and people will take you seriously.”

Where do you see your career going next?

I: “Worldwide. We are looking into starting a tour and eventually touring worldwide.

What’s one thing you tell yourself that keeps you going through rough times?

I: “To just keep going – that I will get through the rough times and that it’s just a learning experience.”

What’s your favorite fan story?

I: “Love my fans! My favorite is when fans recognize me in random places.
