Leave it all to me to figure them out!
Last year Paramount graced us with the long-awaited return of our internet-stardom team known as ‘iCarly’. Now, well past the release of season 1, every Millenial was desperate for the next one. And, after looking at the Season 2 trailer, most of us got our wishes. Here are a few parts of ‘iCarly’ season 2 that are sure to give us some nostalgic feels.
1-Our Favorite Doorman (Lewbert)
What an unpleasant surprise. A recurring character in the original series, Lewbert (Jeremy Rowley) was one of the funniest characters. He was known for his yelling, frantic movements, and his weirdly shippable relationship with Freddie’s mom. Now, he’s back in the hopes of trying to gain ownership of iCarly. Hopefully, he doesn’t come back with the mole.
2- Happy Birthday (Guppy)
Guppy and Gibby were truly a dynamic duo. And while Gibby is not expected to join the reboot, we are getting our Guppy (Ethan Munck). Now 18 instead of 6, the hilarious character is back to prove that he doesn’t need his brother to be a scene-stealer.
3-Longtime-Rivalry (Chuck)
Name a better rivalry; we’ll wait. The naughty prankster Chuck (Ryan Ochoa) is back to being the ultimate pain for Spencer. And, after his fan-favorite role ended up being sent to military school, we’re sure he’s got a bone to pick with the Shays.
Way better than cable.
4- An Unexpected Crossover (Josh Peck)
It’s gonna take some time to realize that this is not a Drake and Josh reboot. Josh Peck plays a brand new character, instead of Carly’s older brother, in the reboot. We can’t wait to see what references will be made. Can we get at least one ‘Megan!’?
5- Carly Or Sam? (Carly and Freddie)
One of the trademark storylines of ‘iCarly’ is whether or not Freddie was going to end up with Carly or Sam. 12 years later, their relationship is still in the spotlight. By the end of Season 2, we should get a few confessions of if their nostalgic love is still there. Team Creddie forever!
6-Keep It Groovy (The Groovy Smoothie)
The pop-up shop we all desperately need. The hangout spot for most of the characters, The Groovy Smoothie was one of the more iconic locations from the show. It was also known for its best employee, T-Bone. And while it’s not coming back under the same name, ‘Shay What?!”, a brand new smoothie shop, is taking it’s shape. Maybe T-Bone tried to put the old smoothie shop on a stick?
7-Nickelodeon Fever (Melissa Joan Hart)
You thought that Josh Peck was the only iconic Nickelodeon star joining the remake? Well, you thought wrong. The one and only Melissa Joan Hart, also known as ‘Clarissa’ from ‘Clarissa Explains All’ is a director for several episodes within the season. And judging by how good they long, it really explains it all.
8- More Questions
Is Sam ever coming back? Will Creddie actually become a thing? Just like the original, Season 2 of ‘iCarly’ is going to leave us with a list of questions we need to be answered. But, we guess there’s always Season 3…..right?
