This singer-songwriter is TV royalty!
If you watch any TV, you have definitely listened to Claire before. With well over 15 Million streams on her music and features in every show from ‘Pretty Little Liars’ to ‘All American’, we can’t want to see what she has up her sleeve next.
We had the absolute honor to talk to Claire about the importance of hard work, music feature goal, and more!
What is the story behind your recent single “CEO”?
C: “I wrote CEO as an anthem for all of the people out there who are a boss in their own right. My goal was to release a song that would pump people up and make them feel good about themselves. CEO is a great hype song and a quick reminder that no matter what circumstance you’re in or where you are, you’re a bada$$.”
How would you describe your music in one sentence?
C: “I would describe my music as a combination of edgy, make you want to move, emotional, dark, upbeat, multi-genre, and ever-changing.”
What first inspired you to be a musician?
C: “My love of music inspired me to make music. I’ve been writing songs and singing since I can remember. I would wake up in the middle of the night with whole songs running through my head so I’d try and quickly record them. It started off not being a choice lol, It’s just something that’s in my blood.”
Where would you love to have your music featured next?
C: “Every time my music is used in a show, ad, or movie, I am incredibly thankful and humbled. It’s kind of silly but, I used to watch the weather channel a lot and would love if they used my music sometime 🙂 I also love hearing other artists cut my songs too!”
Who are some musicians you’d love to work with in the future?
C: “I would jump at the chance to work with Khalid, Tyler, the Creator, Chris Martin, Ryan Tedder, Beyonce, and so many more amazingly talented artist/producer/writer/musicians that I admire!”
What is something people don’t understand about working in entertainment?
C: “It’s not all sunshine and roses. Being a creative person comes with challenges in an industry that is largely profit driven. Hard work and balancing business with music is a necessity as well as finding the right team to work with.”
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
C: “Even though I don’t write country music, the one country song that I wrote in my whole career was put on hold by Little Big Town and cut by Billy Currington and Jesse James Decker soon after it was finished.”
Where can we follow your amazing journey?
C: “You can keep in touch by joining my mailing list at www.claireguerreso.com and following me on all social platforms!”
