This Boston-born actress is on the big screen!
Lauren has quickly come into view in the Entertainment industry after her role as ‘Young Harmony’ in the most popular Brat TV show “Chicken Girls.” We had the amazing honor of talking with Lauren on her role models, moving to California, and more!
Q: What advice can you give to inspiring actresses?
L: “Some advice I can give is to always try your best. When you give it your best, you will reach your goal.”
Q: Who are your role models in this industry?
L: “Some of my role models are my sister Lane, Stephanie Beatriz who plays Mirabel on Encanto, and Sofia Carson.”
Q: If you weren’t an actor, what would you be up to right now?
L: “If I weren’t an actor professionally, I would probably still being doing plays with my friends at recess!”
Q: What’s something we should know about the short film “Five and a Half”? that might surprise us?
L: “Something surprising about my short film is that I filmed for four full days to create a film that’s under 30 minutes long.”
Q: What lessons has your character “Young Harmony” from the Brat TV series “Chicken Girls” taught you?
L: “Playing Young Harmony is super fun – this role taught me to always memorize all your lines! I shot three episodes in one day so I had to remember all my scenes!”
Q: You have already been able to work with some impressive names so far in your career. Is there anyone you would love to work with someday?
L: “I would love to work with my sister Lane, the cast of Encanto, and Andrea Barber – I love her character Kimmy Gibler!”
Q: What is something people don’t understand about working in entertainment?
L: “Something people don’t understand is that it’s not easy to book a role. You have to keep trying and trying, but each audition is practice!”
Q: How did you first get interested in becoming an actress?
L: “I’ve always done dance and plays, but when my family moved to California, I got signed with an agent who helps me get auditions for TV and film. Since then, I’ve loved being an actress.”
Q: What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
L: “Something people are surprised by is that I love math! It seems like no one likes math!”
