This young influencer is truly a triple threat!
From acting in our favorite shows, having a great online fanbase, and releasing amazing music, this is definitely not the first time you’ve heard of Kacey. She is most known for starring with Cree Cicchino (‘And Just Like That…’) in Nickelodeon’s ‘Game Shakers’ to starring with Angelica Salek (‘Henry Danger’) in ‘Clique Wars’.
We had the absolute honor of talking with Kacey on her next steps, reason for starting acting, and more!
Q: What was your favorite role that you played and why?
K: “I absolutely loved playing Karissa on Game Shakers! The entire cast was incredible to work with and I had such a fun time playing the role of a mean character who ended up getting what she deserved. The plot was so fun and we got to film so many exciting scenes where we competed in games and challenges.”
Q: How did your passion for acting start?
K: “From a young age, I loved recreating the scenes from my favorite Disney and Nickelodeon shows! When I heard a radio advertisement for an acting school near me, I wanted to give it a shot. I instantly fell in love with acting and the rest is history!”
Q: How were you able to use music as a creative outlet?
K: “My lyrics serve as a reflection of my experiences, emotions, and observations about the world. In this way, I use my music as a creative outlet as well as a way to express myself artistically.”
Q: What’s a project that you are working on right now that you’re really excited about?
K: “I’m currently working on an album! I can’t reveal much yet, but I’m beyond excited so stay tuned!!”
Q: How do you use your social media platforms as a way to connect with your fans and express your creativity?
K: “I love interacting with my supporters on livestreams and via comments, both of which are luckily available to me through social media platforms like interaction. This is so helpful for me as it lets me get to know the people who follow me as well as express my gratitude for their constant support!”
Q: What advice do you have for people who want a career in the arts (dance, music, acting, etc)?
K: “It’s definitely not an easy business, but perseverance is key! Practice your craft, learn from your mistakes, and don’t get discouraged by rejection.”
Q: How do you balance your time as a student and actress?
K: “Time management is super important! I keep to-do lists and a detailed calendar so I never forget an assignment or task that I need to complete.”
Q: What about music do you find fulfilling?
K: “The impact that music leaves is the most fulfilling part! The best feeling is when someone tells me that they could relate to my songs or feel inspired by my music. It’s also so incredibly satisfying when a song that I’ve been working on writing and recording is finally fully produced and ready to be released! Hearing the finished song always makes me feel so proud of the hard work that I’d put in.”
Q: What’s something that you wish to accomplish in the future?
K: “Since I’m a junior in high school, the next step for me is college! My goal is to get into one of the colleges that I like and pursue my degree for the next 4 years after high school.”
Q: What’s one thing that you do for self care?
K: “I love exercising! I always make sure that I have time to do something active so I can clear my mind from all of the stress that life can bring.”
