This young actress is always in a star-studded movie!
Known for her breakout role as ‘Lindsay’ in the 2021 Blockbuster film “Here Today”, she’s back with the role as ‘Ellen’ in the new Netflix movie “Mixtape”
We had the amazing opportunity to talk with Audrey on her newest role, favorite actresses, and more!
Q: When did you first realize that you wanted to be an actress?
A: “I’ve always loved acting, so I think it just came naturally to me. I always thought it’d be cool to be an actress, but I didn’t see acting as a profession I could make a living in until I got the role in Here Today! That was about 3 years ago.”
Q: Tell us about your character ‘Ellen’ in the newly released Netflix film “Mixtape”?
A: “Ellen is this confident, quirky, awesome character! She wants everyone to have a good time, so she’s pretty funny!”
Q: Who is your favorite actress of all time, and why?
A: “That’s a really tough question, I like a lot of actresses! I really love Olga, Gemma, and Julie Bowen because, besides their acting, they’re just wonderful people to be around. I’d probably say that Naya Rivera or Anya Taylor-Joy are my favorite actresses! They’re really fun to watch, and I just love the characters they play.”
Q: Comedy or Drama movies?
A: “Comedy all the way! I love to laugh and whenever I have friends over, we always watch horror or comedy movies!”
Q: When you are not starring in movies, what are some of your hobbies?
A: “I love to draw, sew, write, play games, and binge-watch shows!”
Q: Have you ever been starstruck before? With who?
A: “I think the first time I’ve been starstruck was when I went to a Melanie Martinez concert, and she was right there on stage. It was super cool, especially since it was the first concert I’ve ever been to!”
Q: What are some of your biggest goals for your career?
A: “Acting is such an amazing device for story-telling, and that’s probably one of my favorite aspects of acting. I want people to see what I do, and just become immersed in the story. I want to inspire people, but I also want to enjoy it myself!”
Q: Where can we follow your amazing journey?
A: “You can find me on Instagram @audreyhsieh_ :D”
