This young singer is headed straight to the charts!
Jordana has quickly become an artist to know. With thousands of streams of her music on Spotify and over 6 Million views on Youtube, we couldn’t be more excited for her new music.
We had the absolute honor of talking with Jordana on guitar, upcoming music, and more!
Q: What first inspired you to first start your music career?
J: “I’ve always loved music because of how it brings people together. When I was ten years old, I got a guitar for Christmas and my dad started teaching me how to play, which really opened up songwriting for me. When I started writing songs I just fell in love with how as a songwriter you get to choose what message you put into the world because I feel like it’s such a great opportunity to spread positivity.”
Q: Tell us about your debut EP “Last First”.
J: “My debut EP is kind of like an introduction to who I am, and who I was when I put these songs out. For example, I’m a pretty optimistic person and I feel like a lot of the songs on my EP showcase that. Also, writing this project during quarantine, I wanted to add a bit of positivity to all of the songs so that they would hopefully make people smile when they heard them.”
Q: What is your favorite single off of the EP and why?
J: “My favorite track is probably “Little Ol’ Me” because it’s about just being yourself, and I feel like that’s a message that I really believe in and that I want to share with people. I also feel like that song is really authentic to who I am as a person, and I love being able to share part of who I am with everyone.”
Q: What has been your reaction to receiving millions of views on your singing?
J: “I honestly am just so grateful to be able to share my music with people and hopefully get the chance to brighten their day. It’s been so incredible getting to share my music with so many people, and everyone’s support just means the world to me.”
Q: If you collaborated on a single with any music artist, who would it be and why?
J: “That’s a tough question! I’d say probably either Carrie Underwood or Taylor Swift because they’re two of the artists that I grew up listening to the most and I really admire how they’ve stayed really authentic to who they are throughout their careers. It would be a dream come true to get to work on a collab with them!”
Q: When not singing, what are your favorite things to do?
J: “Not including music, my favorite things to do are probably spending time with my family and friends, baking, and going on hikes. I feel like whenever I’m doing these things I always feel really calm and peaceful haha!”
Q: Can we expect more music from you in the future?
J: “Yes!! Right now I’m working on my next EP with Zach Kale and Seth Mosley, who are helping me produce this project. For the past few months I’ve been doing tons of writing to really find the right songs for the project and create an EP that tells the stories I want to tell. The first song off of the EP will probably be coming out sometime in the spring, so stay tuned!”
Q: Where can we follow your amazing journey?
J: “I’d say the platform I use the most is Instagram, and you can follow me at jordana.bryant! I also post a lot on YouTube and I have my debut EP out on all streaming services, so to find my music there you can just search Jordana Bryant! Basically, wherever you listen to music I have some out!! :)”
