This child-actor is making his way in the world!
Jordan Nash has been a pleasure to see on our big screen! Our favorite appearances of him so far include Disney’s incredible reboot of “Aladdin”, and Hulu’s “Harlots”.
We had the absolute honor of talking with Jordan on who he worked with, when he first started acting, and more!
Q: When did you first realize you wanted to start a career in acting?
“Hello, big shout out to all New Scene Magazine readers – thanks for having me! If you’re able to track down my parents, you’ll have to ask them. I’ve been acting since I was 4 and got my first professional gig when I was 5. I can’t remember much of anything that happened back then, it feels like I’ve been acting forever and it just feels like a normal thing, it’s just part of who I am.‘
Q: What has been your favorite role so far?
J: “It’s got to be Playing Peter PAN In COME AWAY. It was my first time in a LEAD role. It was also during my lowest moments in my life – hopefully I can come back and talk about that again if invited – but it was a unique role and a version of a well known story that was different in so many ways. To know that I’d be playing such a iconic character as a black boy but also the fact that PAN had a sibling – another iconic character Alice from Alice in wonderland! But doing stunts and sword fighting, that was Lit! I think I’ll stop there before I spoil it for anyone that hasn’t yet watched the movie.”
Q: If you could star in a movie with any actor, who would it be and why?
J: “Well not to brag, but I’ve already worked with a bunch of big names Angelina Jolie, Will Smith, Idris Elba, Mark Wahlberg, Elle Fanning, but the person I’d really love to work with on a major movie would be my Dad. I know that sounds cheesy doesn’t it!“
Q: What would be your dream role?
J: “I always wanted to play Kevin on Home Alone! I think they’re already on the remake? I’ve not had a call yet, so I’ll have to keep dreaming.“
Q: What is your current favorite TV show?
J: “I don’t really have one, but I’m a massive football fan so soccer AM which is a Saturday morning show on SKY is a show I never miss.“
Q: When not acting, what are some of your favorite things to do?
J: “I love writing and producing music, painting but away from the arts I’m the biggest gamer. FIFA, man , that’s my grind. I’m in division 3 if anyone wants to test me.“
Q: What are your biggest goals for your acting career?
J: “I just want to keep going. Every opportunity is a blessing. I’ll take all offers!“
Q: Where can we follow your amazing journey?
J: “Please follow me on Instagram, I’m new to it @jordannashworld and on YouTube Jordan A Nash.”
