The absolute fashionista is here!
Known for her incredble fashion and beauty content, Savannah Rae Collins has gained over 15 Million Likes on Social Media. She’s also a model, having walked the prestious runway of NYSW several times.
We had the absolute honor of interview Savannah on the behind the scenes of the modeling world, NYC or LA, and more!
Q: What inspired you to first start posting content on social media.
S: “I first started taking my social media seriously when I realized how much of an impact influencers made on my life. I was so drawn to the ones that shared their truth- and then I thought “hey I can do that too!” Funny enough, I didn’t even consider downloading TikTok until last year! I was seeing so many inspiring women that I follow posting about their TikTok, so I knew I had to download it! I started posting with the intent to give aspiring models advice, but it took off from there! My content evolved from that into fashion and beauty, and here we are!’
Q: What has been your reaction to receiving nearly 10 Million Likes on Tik Tok so far?
S: “ I really don’t think I have fully comprehended that number! It’s truly insane. I am so incredibly grateful for everything that TikTok has brought into my life. My followers have truly changed my world. 10 million likes happened so fast, I barely even realized I was almost there! It has definitely been a crazy ride.”
Q: You have modeled in New York Fashion Week several times. What was that experience like?
S: “Modeling in New York fashion week was such a huge milestone for me. I was 13 the first time I did NYFW, and it taught me so much independence. I wasn’t allowed to have my mom with me backstage, so I had to get my hair and makeup done, get fitted, and walk down the runway all on my own. If you’ve ever been backstage at a fashion show, you know it’s not an easy environment! I believe that getting out of my comfort zone like that made me into the person I am today! The next fashion week season was a breeze for me, I was ready for anything!”
Q: If you could work with any brand for a modeling gig/PR opportunity, which would it be?
S: “I would love to go on a trip with Revolve around the world! I love traveling (and revolve!), and I think that would be such an amazing experience. So many amazing influencers attend the trips, and I would love to be surrounded by all of those inspiring women.”
Q: How has LA living been different than living before in New York?
S: I think everyone needs a little LA and a little NY in their life! I really can’t pick which one I prefer, I love a good balance. I feel like LA brings out my matcha loving, Pilates girl, and New York brings out my bad ass fashionista.”
Q: You always post amazing photos of you traveling. Where is your favorite place to travel?
S: “Funny enough, one of my favorite trips was to the Nickelodeon resort in the Dominican Republic. We stayed in a villa that was a replica of spongebobs house (but with an infinity pool!) I went swimming in a cave and rode 4 wheelers through the rainforest. It was such a cool experience! I have a little brother, so I have an excuse to go to all of the kid friendly places that everyone secretly wants to go to!”
Q: What are your biggest goals for your career?
S: “Currently, I just want to inspire people to be themselves. If my followers take anything away from my videos, I want it to be that. As far as long term goals, I would love to grow my TikTok family to 1 million followers! I want to connect with as many people as possible and share my message with them!”
Q: Where can we follow your amazing journey?
S: “My Instagram and TikTok are both @officialsavannahrae! Follow me for more fashion and beauty content!”
