One of our favorite beauty influencers!
After gaining fame on the iconic TV show “Toddlers and Tiaras”, Isabella Barret is truly thriving. Now, she’s a business owner, influencer, millionaire..the list goes on!
We had the honor of talking with Isabella about everything her career, amazing friendships and goals:
Q. What is your favorite thing to do when not on screen?
I: “My favorite thing to do in the Summer is definitely Jet Ski and being by the lake. I also love 4-wheeling and being outdoors. In the Winter I love to travel and love meeting up with my modeling friends all over the world.”
Q: How do you balance your busy career while studying in high school?
I: “I’m very in control of my own schedule so to me it’s easy to balance but I also have to say I love being a business owner and love helping others. Being an honor roll student is something I take very seriously and always stays my number 1 priority.”
Q: What celebrity would you freak-out upon meeting and why?
I: “This is such a hard question because I get to work around a lot of celebrities and they are really just normal people like everyone else. I think it would have to be Lil Baby, he is the hottest rapper out there and is a great dad and is handling the fame well.”
Q: “Even though you were very young, do you remember your experience on Toddlers and Tiaras?”
I: “I get this question a lot, to be honest I don’t remember much about being on the show but I love watching old tapes with my friends and family. I do remember some things like filming the music video for LOL the song with Eden Wood and being on the cover of OK Magazine. I loved doing press for the show and the overall experience was always exciting because we would travel a lot. When it was over I remember being bored.”
Q: How did Covid affect your daily life and career?
I: “Covid happened right as we started to film our show “Next Big Thing, NYC” so it really changed all our plans for what we could film. I tried to use the time to interact more on social media and work on my brands from home. It definitely was confusing as a teenager at first, I was worried that things would never go back to normal and it was very scary and sad to see NYC completely empty.”
Q: What has been the highlight of your career for you, so far?
I: “The highlight of my career has to be all the friendships I’ve made. I love having friends all over the world and being able to visit them when I’m in town. I also feel like attending the MTV Movie Awards and walking the carpet at the Teen Choice Awards were very cool moments for me. I have gotten to meet some cool people like Adam Sandler, Shaquille Oneal and Rita Ora. I have attended an Oscar party for GMA studios and seeing myself on toy boxes for Toys R Us, but currently to be on a show streaming on Amazon prime that just won silver at the Telly awards its pretty cool to me and surreal.”
Q: Did you keep any friendships with your co stars from “Next Big Thing”?
I: “love my cast from “Next Big Thing, NYC”. I basically grew up with Peter Cestaro and DJ ALden. We are Biz Kids meaning being in the industry for a long time. Mya is still my bestie and one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met and Tonee is so talented he will be a superstar one day soon. But my oldest ride or die is definitely Eden Wood, we started together on Toddlers & Tiaras, traveled the world doing press, ran up some room service bills, not to mention we have a song LOL that will live forever.”
Q: Tell us about your company ‘Glitzy Girl’.
I: “Glitzy Girl was my first company and our first products were “Wear your WIns ” accomplishment bracelets. The idea was no matter what sport you were in you could “wear your wins” . so for Gymnastics every time you would make a level you would add that charm to your bracelets. Ten we made “Brag Bracelets” for Moms and Grandmas so they could also wear a “brag Bracelet” to show off your accomplishments.”
Q: What is your biggest goal for your career?
I: “I really want to get my book out called “A Teens Guide to Business”. It was put on hold when Covid happened but we are now working on it. I think it’s so important to have knowledge at a young age of how to start and run a brand. This doesn’t just mean a physical business but also branding yourself as an Influencers or just knowing the importance of your social media blueprint. Future goals are to put out another song one day, attend the Grammys, act in a huge Universal film and buy a second house in the Hamptons.”
Q: Where can we follow your amazing journey?
I: “Thank you for this interview and thank you to everyone who reads it, you can find me on IG and don’t be afraid to reach out and say hi, I try to always comment back. I also have a Facebook, Youtube channel and am the new PR leader for BBTC NATIONS a company that if you want to travel and review products or just be in an Influencers club stop by our IG @Isabellabarrett123 or website. www.bellabarrett.com“
