Ava Breeze just released her debut music video and it is incredible!
From the amazing tone that Ava has, to the beach-vibes music video, it’s everything you would want to rock out to this year.
When we asked Ava about the new single, she noted that the single was written during the dark time of the pandemic.
“I wrote girls of summer during the height of covid when I didn’t know if I would ever be able to have more fun memories with my friends again, mask free, and carefree. I wanted the song to have a feeling of living the moments of summer, either in the present or in your mind through memories… It is a very alternative/indie song featuring a harp and keyboards with no beat! It started as a pop song in my head, but I realized that this song didn’t fit with my true authentic melancholy reality while writing it, so I went back and reworked it, as it should have been written.“– Ava Breeze
She even revealed that a few of her friends were actually involved with the project!
“My favorite moment in my career has been filming my music video. My actual friends were the “girls of summer” and it was us making more fun memories, just being filmed. It made everything I was doing seem just like authentic fun, not a working shoot. I had a finished song, and now all of the pieces came together and I was making a music video. It didn’t feel possible! My song was going to be a video!!!!“– Ava Breeze
