If you’re looking for a new song to put on your playlist, then we definitely got you covered.
You shouldn’t be a stranger to Ronnie Watts. Starting her music career at such a young age, she still gets as much success and streams than people who have been doing it for decades. Maybe even more. Her most recent EP “I Don’t Trust U At All” has received over 1 million streams so far.
Ronnie Watts pens a love letter to the small town singer-songwriter in “Famous In California.” Inspired by all her friends going to Los Angeles and New York City Watts was left by herself in her hometown so she crafted a song dedicated to those left behind. The lyrics of this song are incredibly deep, but definitely something you can sing-along to in the car.
Lyric: “We feel so deeply, everything feels like a movie. I wanted the lyrics to depict those cinematic experiences. Having written this song over a year ago, it’s funny to look back on what I was feeling then. I’ve lived a lot since then, but this song still means so much to me.”
Ronnie’s songwriting is only getting better and we are so excited to see what she releases next. Stream ” Go Get Famous” anywhere you listen to music and look forward to an exclusive New Scene Interview with Ronnie herself!
