The self-proclaimed “Open Book” singer is here to slay. Gainging over 1 million streams for her music, 22 year old Jenny March is already ahead of the game.
We had the honor of talking with Jenny (Virtually!) on all things music, industry goals, and her newest hit single “All In”.
Q: What has been your favorite released single so far?
J: “My favorite released single would probably have to be my last single “All In” or “Rebound”, but I have some new faves that will be coming out soon!”
Q: How would you describe the music you put out?
J “I write music that for the most part is based on things I’ve personally gone through, whether it’s happy or sad. I try to make fun music that you can dance to and that has you feeling confident, because that’s what I wanted when I was a kid. I loved listening to music in all types of genres that made me feel good about myself.”
Q: Tell us more about your amazing new single “All In”.
J ““All In” is about my current boyfriend. He finally got a song and he’s so happy about it. Haha It pretty much exactly tells the story of how we met and how we had an amazing connection the very first night we met. I couldn’t keep my hands off of him.”
Q: How does it feel to have such great feedback from your music?
J: “It feels great to have that validation from people, but it’s always a battle with yourself. I’ll always keep striving to be better for myself. What I like changes so fast since I’m constantly learning, so I’m always down to try new things. Hopefully people will stay along for the ride and grow with me. “
Q: Is there any goals you want to accomplish?
J: “One of my career goals is to go on an international tour as the lead artist. I love traveling and learning about different places so to be able to do music and travel would be a dream. I’d love to perform at Madison Square Garden too, like pretty much every artist ever. “
Q: Your debut EP is coming in 2 months? How excited are you?
J: “I am sooo excited you have no idea! I have been waiting 2 years to put out an EP. I’m a perfectionist and my mind changes so often so I wanted to wait for the right moment. What I learned though is that sometimes you just need to release something and let it go. Don’t dwell on the result too much. You learn the most by failing so whatever happens it’s a success. “
Q: What has been your favorite moment in your career so far?
J: “Honestly, making this EP during quarantine has been one of my favorites. I’m proud of myself. I worked really hard on it and I hope you guys will love it!”
Q: Where can we follow your amazing journey?
J: “To follow me on all socials, my Instagram, Twitter, and FB is @jennymarchmusic. My Tik Tok is @jennymarchmusic_”
