I am definitely falling for all the fall 2020 makeup trends, no pun intended. This year, the trends are mostly focused on the eyes and they are to d-eye for! Here are a few examples of the beauty trends you are seeing this fall.
Graphic liner
This is more than your average winged eyeliner. Whether it is a classic black liner or an interesting combination of colors, the graphic liner is definitely an impressive trend. There are countless styles of graphic liner, which is what makes it so fun! To achieve this look, pick eyeliners of your choice, and recreate any eyeliner design you want to create. For example, there are many designs such as floating liner, dotted liner, and separate lined liners.
Bold colors
Featuring jeweled tones such as emerald and blue, this trend gives the eyes a nice pop of bold colors. This bold colored eyeshadow trend is not limited to jeweled tones, which means that it is your choice to decide what colors you want to use to create a nice bold eyeshadow look.
Monochrome
This trend has been popular for the last few years because of how low maintenance and chic it looks. Monochrome makeup basically focuses on a specific color palette or shade to create a common theme in the products being used. To this day, monochrome makeup is still as popular as it used to be during the first few years it became a trend. To create a monochrome look, simply choose a color and use products on the eyes and lips that complement that specific shade.
Red lips
This old classic is not going anywhere. That is all that needs to be said. To get the classic red lip, choose any matte or glossed red lip shade, swipe it on your lips, and boom! You look as great as Elizabeth Gilles.
Dewy finish look
The goal in this trend is to have nice glowing skin without appearing greasy, which is easily accomplished through makeup in a variety of ways such as: using dewy setting mist, creamy formulated makeup products such as concealer and blush, or mixing a highlighter with some foundation. If you want to naturally get that dewy skin, you can change up your skincare routine.
To get that natural dewy look, make sure that you are
- Making sure skin isn’t dehydrated
- regularly exfoliating your skin (but not over exfoliating)
- choosing the correct products for your skin type
Although you don’t necessarily need to get a serum to have glowy skin, vitamin C can be beneficial to add to your routine if you want some extra help to get that dewy skin.
